Juniper Elementary School Chromebook Distribution Schedule
Chromebooks will be distributed on Thursday and Friday of this week. Families will be picking up chromebooks by student/family last name. Families with multiple students will be able to pick up the chromebooks for all of their students at the same time. If your family has students with multiple last names, chromebooks will be grouped under the student with the last name that comes first in the alphabet (i.e. Garcia and Sanchez will be grouped under Garcia). The schedule is as follows:

Friday, April 3rd
9:00 - 10:00 L - Ma
10:00 - 11:00 Mc - N
11:00 - 12:00 O - Q
1:00 - 2:00 R - S
2:00 - 3:00 T - Z
Pick up will take place in our regular drive up pick up lane on Smoketree Street in front of the cafeteria. When you pull up, please pop your trunk (if possible) and provide your student’s name by placing a piece of paper with your each first and last name, and teacher’s name, in the window for staff to easily see. In order to keep with social distancing guidelines, families will need to remain in their vehicles when picking up.
Please note:
TK/kindergarten and students in Mrs. Chatten, Mrs. Harris, and Mrs. Ward’s classes will also pick up their supplies during the windows above.
Students do NOT need to be present for chromebook pick up. Only the parent/guardian needs to be present.
If you are unable to pick up your student’s chromebook during the allotted time frame, a make-up schedule will be arranged for the following week.

Los Chromebooks se van a repartir el jueves y viernes de esta semana. Las familias recogerán Chromebook por apellido del estudiante / familia. Las familias con varios estudiantes podrán recoger los Chromebook para todos sus estudiantes al mismo tiempo. Si su familia tiene estudiantes con varios apellidos, los Chromebooks se agruparán debajo del estudiante con el apellido que aparece primero en el alfabeto (es decir, García y Sánchez se agruparán bajo García). La recogida se llevará a cabo en nuestro carril de recogida regular en la calle Smoketree en frente de la cafetería. Cuando entren favor de abrir la cajuela (si es posible) y dar el apellido del estudiante(s). Para seguir las reglas del distanciamiento social, las familias deberán permanecer en sus vehículos cuando recojan los materiales
Tenga en cuenta que los estudiantes de TK/Kindergarten igual de las clases de la Sra. Chatten, la Sra. Harris, y la Sra. Ward, también recogerán sus materiales durante este tiempo.
Si no puede recoger el Chromebook de su estudiante durante el período de tiempo asignado se organizará tiempo adicional para la semana siguiente.

You've asked and we're answering! Yes, Juniper students can access i-Ready for additional math and reading practice at home. Just go to Clever.com and have your student "login with Google." Their username is their lunch#@husdstudent.com and the password is the same password that they use to sign in to their chromebooks. Once they login, students will click on the i-Ready icon to get started.
For 1st graders: The default password is 12345678. All other students have an individual password.
As a reminder, the recommended time frame for i-Ready is no more than 15-20 minutes daily in math and/or reading.

Due to rain in the forecast the Hesperian Ninja Warrior Finals will be rescheduled to FRIDAY, APRIL 3 2020. Elementary will start at 8:00 AM, middle school at 10:15 AM, and high schools at 11:15 AM.
